Suicide prevention day (Australia)
Normally I don’t post a lot of texts post unless to update you but suicide prevention is something really important too me and I really feel like I should somewhat talk about it to my wonderful followers.
Okay, I have had a good friend of mine pass away due to suicide.
I know lots of people who have had friends & family die because of suicide, it’s seriously turning into a contagious disease, more and more people are doing.
People are trying to solve a temporary problem with a permanent solution and it’s sad.
Because when they leave their family and/or friends the first thing they ask is, “why?. why didn’t they talk to me? I didn’t know” etc.
I think the thing is, most of the time suicide can be easily prevented by just asking someone “are you okay? Whats on your mind” Stuff like that. It’s so simple, yeah?
Suicide is a very horrible thing to think about, especially if it’s someone important.
So, my words of advice is, if your friend is sad or just isn’t acting the same, it’s quite easy to tell, they start being careless about dangerous situations.
So just, take the time to ask them if everything is okay.
It’s so sad that we have to lose more and more wonderful human beings for such a sad reason.
